Nature’s Art. Take the Time.

I have lived in the same wonderful neighborhood for 28 years. I have visited The Chain of Lakes many times. They are a stones throw from my house..(simply walk across the street). I have taken in the beauty of it all. However… I have never, until two days ago viewed the lake, trees, birds etc through the lens of a camera. There was knotted bark that resembled a fairy tale full of characters, there were trees with roots that made couture fashion look basic, there was bark that felt and looked like the best of leather and the colors of bark far more vibrant that you get on a canvas.
