Selling a painting is indeed a special moment for an artist. It's a validation of our talent and hard work, and it's incredibly rewarding to know that someone appreciates my art enough to want to have it in their home. Knowing that my painting is going to a good home where it will be cherished and valued is an added bonus, as it means that my work will continue to be enjoyed and admired by others. The connection between the artist, the artwork, and the collector is a unique and meaningful bond that adds another layer of significance to the creative process.
Sharing stories….By allowing viewers to interpret the artwork and create their own stories based on their personal experiences and emotions, I am inviting them to engage with my art on a deeper level. This open-ended approach to titling can spark conversation, reflection, and connection as each viewer including myself brings our unique perspective to the piece. It adds an element of depth and complexity to my work, inviting viewers to explore the layers of meaning and emotion within the painting. By leaving the titles open to interpretation, I am encouraging a more personal and subjective experience with my art, allowing each individual to find their own connection and resonance with the piece. I enjoy inviting viewers to participate in the dialogue and storytelling of my artwork.
