As an artist, I create my work with a specific intention and meaning in mind. However, once my art is put out into the world, it transforms into something entirely different. Each viewer brings their own unique perspective and experiences to the piece, which allows them to see different stories and interpretations within the same artwork. It's fascinating to see how my art can evoke such a wide range of emotions and narratives from different people, even if it wasn't what I originally intended.

It's the viewers who hold the power to derive their own personal meanings from my art, regardless of my own intentions. I have no control over how they interpret or connect with my work, which makes the process of creating and sharing my art even more exciting. It's amazing to witness the endless possibilities of stories that can be told through my paintings, as each viewer brings their own unique perspective to the piece. Ultimately, my art transcends beyond my own thoughts and emotions, evolving into a myriad of stories and interpretations that are entirely up to the viewer to uncover.

The decision not to title my art pieces stems from the belief that each viewer should have the opportunity to assign their own meaning and narrative to the work. By leaving the pieces untitled, I allow for the viewer to connect with the artwork on a personal level and create their own interpretation. Every individual brings their own unique perspective and life experiences to the artwork, which in turn shapes the story they see within the piece. In this way, the viewer becomes an active participant in the creative process, adding layers of depth and complexity to the art that I may not have even considered.

Using old, worn canvases or layering new ones with various materials such as molding paste, coal, mist, and sand adds a rich and textured dimension to my artwork. By incorporating these elements, I am able to create a physical depth within the canvas that serves as the foundation for the story to develop. As I add layers and textures to the piece, I find that the story begins to emerge organically, evolving and shifting with each new addition. This process of creating without a predetermined plan allows for a sense of spontaneity and discovery, as the canvas becomes a canvas for the unfolding of the narrative.

The act of building upon the layers and textures of the canvas parallels the gradual development of the story within the artwork. Just as each material and texture adds a new dimension to the piece, the narrative within the artwork grows and evolves through the process of creation. The unpredictability of this approach allows for a sense of freedom and fluidity in the storytelling, as the story unfolds in unexpected ways with each new layer. By embracing the unknown and allowing the story to take shape through the layers, I am able to witness the organic and dynamic process of creation come to life within the artwork.

I see myself as merely the instrument through which the art is created, allowing the viewer to take center stage in the storytelling process. By leaving the interpretations open-ended, I invite a more interactive and engaging experience for the audience, allowing them to engage with the art in a way that is meaningful and personal to them. Each viewing becomes a fresh opportunity for discovery and connection, as the artwork continues to transform and evolve through the eyes of the viewer. Ultimately, this collaborative approach to storytelling allows for a dynamic and ever-changing relationship between the art and its audience.

Music has a profound impact on my art, allowing me to tap into a creative energy that enhances the flow and narrative of my work. The melodies and rhythms of music serve as a guiding force, encouraging me to move and weave through the layers of my art with a sense of airiness and fluidity. The lyrics of songs provide a sense of freedom and liberation, empowering me to interpret and express the inner depths of my emotions and thoughts through my artwork. Music acts as a source of inspiration and guidance, enabling me to create pieces that are deeply connected to my inner self and imbued with a sense of passion and authenticity.

Music is most important to my personal story that I put on canvas I have no choice of genre they all invoke a certain emotion at that time that comes across its truth of what is in my most intimate thoughts.

Every day, I am reminded of how Parkinson’s disease slowly robs me of certain abilities and moments in life. Whether it's the loss of physical strength or the difficulty in simple tasks, the progressive nature of the disease can be disheartening. However, in these moments, I find solace in immersing myself in art, music, and staying active

Engaging in artistic pursuits, listening to music, and participating in sports helps me shift my focus away from the progressive symptoms of Parkinson’s. It allows me to find joy and fulfillment in the present moment, making the challenges of the disease seem inconsequential in the grand scheme of life. By immersing myself in creativity, music, and physical activity, I am able to maintain a positive outlook and continue living life to the fullest despite the hurdles that Parkinson’s presents.

Art journey back in 2017 (New Jersey).
As the renowned artist Vincent van Gogh once said, "I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it with all my heart." These words resonate deeply with me, emphasizing the profound impact that art and creativity can have in enriching our lives and bringing light to even the darkest of days. In the end, it is through gratitude, the strength of relationships, and a passion for second chances that I find solace, purpose, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life.

Thank you to all my dear friends who are my honest critics. Thanks to the best medical and neuromodulation team. You have opened up a whole new world, I admit….with challenges. Challenges that have made me a better person.
