I am excited to announce that starting today, I am officially training for a Dragon Boat race on the 12th October! Why Dragon Boat Racing, you may ask? Well, I have never done it before and I believe it is exactly what I need right now - an opportunity for growth, a chance for change, and a thrilling challenge to push my limits. In Chinese culture, the Dragon is a symbol of power, luck, and success. It represents nobility, honor, and excellence. In 2024, there are predictions of new opportunities, changes, and challenges. I have been looking for a shift in my life, this year could be the perfect time for it.

Celebrating six months post Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery with Dragon Boat Racing is a unique and meaningful way to honor this milestone. While climbing a mountain may not be feasible at the moment due to physical limitations, embracing the symbolism of the dragon can help me navigate through the opportunities, changes, and challenges that lie ahead in the next six months. I am embracing the spirit of the dragon and making the most of this transformative period in my life.
